Kelly & Steve | Illinois Wedding Photography, Glen Ellyn, IL
April 18th, 2012I have had the privilege of working with this family many times before, photographing Laura & Andrew’s wedding in 2010, family portraits in 2011 and now Rachel and I traveled to the Glen Ellyn area for Kelly & Steve’s wedding in 2012! We had a great time with the Kelly & Steve on Friday the 13th!!! Don’t worry nothing bad happened… actually I think it was good luck! 
We braved a little chill… of course we couldn’t have the 80 degree weather we had in March but it was still 60 and we shouldn’t be complaining! Enjoy the highlights below!

The office re-design…
March 27th, 2012Thanks to all of you last year was a great year!!! It also made me realize I need to re-do my office! SO, my mission this winter was to start from the bottom up, new paint, new shelving, new curtains, etc… well, it’s not exactly winter anymore but I’m determined to get this done in my “spare time.” I bought the paint so it WILL get done. haha.
Project one: “new” old file cabinets… Check (gotta love pinterest)

January 20th, 2012On this chilly friday afternoon… my outdoor thermometer reads -1˚F. Hence, why I am sitting in my warm office looking outside. We’re mid-way through an all-day snowfall that is predicted to bring us 4-7″… SO, I though I would wish you all happy Friday, Drive safe and hopefully this will remind you of those beautiful, colored and warm fall days… especially on this cold, white winter day.

January 10th, 2012Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great holiday and end to 2011. I’m so excited as to what 2012 will bring!
The lovely family you’ll see below came before Christmas in hopes of getting some snow pictures. We waited as long as we could and mother nature just didn’t feel like cooperating. Still, we got some great family history captured (like you had any doubt)!

December 27th, 2011Hopefully everyone had a good Christmas. Or Holiday Break, whatever suits you I’m back at it and… yes, still catching up. I’m going to make a new year’s resolution… I’ll be better at blogging for you next year! Whew!
It was a little cold and rainy outside for the Danner family pictures… but we made do! Little Lily loved the studio critters… and Zeus loved her back (Quack just slept, as usual)

December 19th, 2011When the Schroeder family called for family portraits, I could tell right away this was going to be a rowdy bunch. What fun! As you can tell… there was not a dull moment when this whole family gets together. We were lucky that a few trees held on to their leaves for us, and on a lovely badger saturday morning, what better color to wear… badger red!
